Gerard’s Odonatus
Finally the promised imitation of adult odonatus (Gerard Hoferdt´s creation) that we used with success last season in «Achala creek».
Its recipe:
Hook: TMC 2487 #12 fine wire
Thread: Uni 8/0 black
Abdomen and wingcase: Bright blue foam (spotted black abdomen)
Thorax: Peacock herl
Wings: Grizzly tips
Eyes: Segment of Amnesia 25 lb (burned)
