A perfect fly fishing day
I finally went for the brookies of Achala again. First time in the new season in this always beautiful region.
Is springtime here.
This time was the turn of a creek named “Colgado”, a typical Achala´s brook at 2.200 meters over sea level.
Runs mostly outside of the jurisdiction of “Condorito National Park” area and have a remarkable and unique population of Salvelinus Fontinalis.
The fishing season inside National Park territory is still closed.
The weather was perfect and was a “dry fly fishing day” in all sense of the word.
I used very very sparse dressed dry flies (that i hope to show here soon) and some classic models of parachutes.
Bamboo, dry flies and a lot of vigourous brookies! what else can you ask of life?
Now let the pictures speak.
Humberto,
Me gusta su blog totalmente! Vivo in USA y hago la pesca por fontinalis casi todo el ano y por todo mi vida. Quisiera mandar a usted algunos photos de las aguas y las truchas aqui en mi estado de Rhode Island.
