Black Ghost
In a bad weather season, I sit on my fly tying bench to tie small streamers with my mind focused on how I will present them to the trout.
This is a classic Black Ghost in TMC 300 # 12, I’m developing some more. I’ll show you soon!

A great fly. Brook and brown trout take this fly readily. A marabou wing is also deadly.
Thanks Alan for your comment!
Several years ago, using a Black Ghost not much bigger than the photo in this post (maybe a # 10), I captured a beautiful rainbow male on the Chimehuin River in Patagonia, it was one of the most beautiful trout that I have fish.
For me, the classic Streamers are among the finest flies ever invented.
